Perpendicular Bisector

I apologize for sketching the perpendicular bisector graph on the top
left of the post. After I  finish the solution I realize that it will be easier
for you to understand if I did a graph sketch.

Students ask why do we to find the coordinates of the mid-point?
The reason is that you need a set of coordinates to find the y-intercept
of the perpendicular bisector graph, the coordinates of the mid-point
is a point on this graph.
