3 Things to do at the Start of School Term.

3 Things To Do at the Start of School Term.

1. Review last years Topics.

If you are continuing with the same subjects, spend a little bit of time revising what you did last year. Scan through your school notes and homework from last term to refresh your memory.  It is useful to recap as it is provides useful background information for more advance topics. You will also feel more confident approaching the new school year if you remember what you did last year. This will put you in the right frame of mind at the start of the school term.

2. Read through your Syllabus.

Another way to prepare yourself for this year is to read through the syllabus for each of the subjects you are taking. The syllabus outline can be found in your textbook at the beginning of each chapter. Absorbing this information will help you mentally prepare for the new school year, as well as giving you an overview of what to expect, so that you will not be caught unprepared.

3. Set a Few Goals

It’s extremely important that you have a clear understanding of how you want to grow this year. On what are you going to focus? Make a set of goals for the year ahead and things you’re going to do differently. This could include stuff like setting aside time each day for uninterrupted studying or complete you homework one day in advance. Start the year on the right foot and you will get into some good habits that will enable you to reach new heights of academic achievement.

All the best and Good Luck to all Students!

About Unknown

I created this Blog after my students told me that there is very little information about how to solve GCE O Level Math and Additional Math (A-Math) questions on the internet. Even if they manage to find, the solution were for very basic questions. I am a Full-time Math Tutor in Singapore. I tutor mainly in Northern Singapore (Woodlands, Chua Chu Kang, Bukit Panjang, Yishun and Sembawang). I also tutor in Johor Bahru.
