Topic: Coordinate Geometry

In part b) of this coordinate geometry question, I use position vectors
to find the unknown coordinate. Yes, you can use concepts learn from
other topics to solve problems (no marks deducted).
The other thing I like to highlight is part c), although the x-coordinates
of Q and P are negative. When we find the length, you have to use the
absolute value i.e. change to a positive sign. The is no such thing as a
negative length.

About Unknown

I created this Blog after my students told me that there is very little information about how to solve GCE O Level Math and Additional Math (A-Math) questions on the internet. Even if they manage to find, the solution were for very basic questions. I am a Full-time Math Tutor in Singapore. I tutor mainly in Northern Singapore (Woodlands, Chua Chu Kang, Bukit Panjang, Yishun and Sembawang). I also tutor in Johor Bahru.
