E-Math - Vectors - Expression of a Given Vector in Terms of Two Vectors

If  Vector AB = 1/2 Vector AC, it means that vector AB is half the length
of vector AC. If Vector AB =  - Vector XY, it means that both vectors have
 the same length but are pointing in the opposite direction. My take is that
vectors are easy to solve as the calculations are basic, but the difficulty lies
 in visualizing the problem. It helps if you draw or mark out the diagram/s.
